MEXICO - *Passport and visa not required of U.S. citizens for tourist/transit stay up to 90 days. Tourist card is required. Tourist card valid 3 months for single entry up to 180 days, no charge, requires proof of U.S. citizenship, photo ID and proof of sufficient funds. Tourist cards may be obtained in advance from Consulate, Tourism Office, and most airlines serving Mexico upon arrival. Departure tax of $10 is paid at airport when not included in the cost of the airline ticket. Single-entry visa, $40, multiple-entry $50-$200 (depending on length of stay), transit visa, single entry $20, double entry $40. There is an additional $5 visa application fee that must be paid separately. All fees must be paid with company checks or money orders only. No fee for visa for children under age 16. AIDS test required for persons staying over 90 days; U.S. tests results sometimes accepted. Tourist visa for up to 30 days requires confirmation from Mongolian Travel Agency (Zhuulchin) and $45 fee. Business visa requires letter from company stating purpose of trip and invitation from Mongolian organization and fee. Submit 1 application form, 1 photo, itinerary and prepaid envelope for return of passport by certified or special delivery mail. AIDS test required for students and anyone staying longer than 3 months; U.S. test accepted. All foreigners are required to be registered with the Civil Registration Information Center Police Department in Mongolia upon arrival regardless of duration of stay and are warned to do so in order to avoid any inconveniences they may face upon departure. MOZAMBIQUE - *Passport and visa required. Visa must be obtained in advance or tourist visa can be obtained in some borders in Mozambique. Multiple-entry visas valid 3 months from date of issuance, and single- and double-entry visas valid for 2 months, require 1 application form, 2 photos, $20 (single-entry) or $40 (double- or multiple-entry) processing fee for two weeks or an additional $20 fee for three day service, and a letter (from company or individual) giving detailed itinerary and address of where visitor is staying.
